The sixth annual Pole Vaulting Winter Carnival will be held at Pajulahti Olympic Training Center on January 12-14, 2018.
The nation’s top pole-vaulters and coaches, active as well as retired, from all around Finland will be participating in this year’s carnival, as well as many other jumpers and coaches from around the world. The carnival will include practices and competitions for all skill levels, classroom time and leisure time for all participating in the carnival.
This year Matti Mononen (PB 570cm) is going to make a presentation of his own pole vaulter’s path from youth to World Class level.
During the Winter Carnival (Saturday at 14 pm) The Finnish Pole Vaulting Hall of Fame will introduce a new Hall of Fame member. Previously honoured members are Mr. Eeles Landström (2013), Mr. Pentti Nikula (2014), Mr. Antti Kalliomäki and Mr. Aulis Kairento (2015), Mr. Kauko Nyström and Mr. Rauli Pudas (2016), Mr. Erkki Kataja and Mr. Risto Ankio (2017).

All registrations by e-mail must contain the following information:
Name, birth date, billing address, phone number, e-mail address.
IMPORTANT! All participants under the age of 18 must provide the information of a parent or guardian in addition to their own information at the time of registration.
The registration fee must be paid before the participant arrives (invoice will be sent by e-mail).
