
Apprenticeship Training
Apprenticeship training is an opportunity to study for a vocational qualification and to obtain additional competence, for example by completing qualification modules. The most practical way of studying is to learn at a workplace in an authentic work environment and genuine work situations. One a month there is a learning period at school and theory lessons takes place as all studies follow the Sport Assistant curriculum. Exams can be made at the workplace, by e-learning online or at school.
Apprenticeship training student in Finland most commonly is an adult student studying for a new vocation. During the work placement student is a labor and after the studies will be a skilled professional on that specific field and work place. Usual study period is two years.
We offer the degree of Sports Assistant, Sports (Study Programme) as an apprenticeship education with cooperation of the workplaces in the field of sport and leisure. Teaching language: finnish.
